Our Food and Beverage warehouse handles all supplies for our 14 restaurants across the mountain. ESSENTIAL DUTIES (list in order of importance)
This position is responsible for the following “job results”.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assure quality of product by checking and inspecting all orders that are received in the warehouse or any other Food and Beverage outlet.
- Inventories product by counting of products monthly - specific to warehouse at least 9 months out of the year and sometimes more.
- Records requisition forms for all goods that the storeroom is constantly moving by inputting in the computer - prints reports, reports to purchasing agent, helps with coding of invoices – the actual item, price, etc.
- Services all outlets by answering voice messages, communicating to each verbally, transporting goods, pick-up, etc.
- Assures guest satisfaction by seeing all items are completed in a timely manner. Especially special event tents, tables, propane gas, grills, hot boxes, stage, dance floor, etc. - year round.
- Organizes work area by keeping all areas clear of boxes and carts, cleaning the area on a daily basis, making sure that the desk area is kept clean and neat.
- Supervises the overall operation of the warehouse by signing work to the attendants to make sure they are aware of the tasks, help with the tasks, and follow up to see that everything is completed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and warehouse experience preferred
Experience: warehouse experience or similar experience
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Computer training, WV Food Handlers Card – preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Any Alterra employee or volunteer who operates a company vehicle including cars, trucks, snowcats, snowmobiles, or heavy equipment is required to comply with the Alterra Driver’s Standards Policy. This policy also applies to employees or volunteers driving their personal vehicles for company business more than four times per month, averaging 30+ miles per trip. All drivers should receive a full copy of the Alterra Driver’s Standards Policy; if you have not – please contact your Risk/Safety or HR/EE Department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Office Environment:
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis
- Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
