What you will do:

The Biomedical Equipment Technician Apprentice Program is designed for students interested in exploring a career in the biomedical field. This hands-on program pairs participants with experienced mentors in Clinical Engineering to develop foundational knowledge and skills in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM). The program provides exposure to medical equipment technologies, encourages professional collaboration, and supports long-term career planning in the healthcare technology field.

• Be matched with a dedicated mentor and training partner
• Receive formal instruction in medical terminology, anatomy, IT/cybersecurity, test equipment, electrical systems, and basic biomedical equipment repair
• Gain practical, on-the-job experience in a hospital setting
• Learn to function effectively in an entry-level clinical equipment support technician role

What you will need:

• Education: High School students with an interest and high acumen in Biomedical Engineering, electronics or related fields are encouraged to apply.
