Maintenance Tech

Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech for one of its communities in the Tampa Bay area.  The position is full-time (Tuesday thru Saturday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm) with competitive pay, excellent benefits and Incentive and Advancement Programs. 

 
Responsibilities:
 

• Maintains and cleans the Clubhouse, Amenities, Pool Area and Common Areas. Includes dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, fixtures, and more. Cleans counters, walls, ceiling, sweeps, scrubs, and waxes floors, requests products/supplies necessary for stocking restrooms and facilities. 

• Keeps equipment operational, ensures systems and building are ready for use by completing preventive maintenance and janitorial schedules, maintains records, follows policies and procedures, completes repairs and installs replacement parts, reports needed changes.
 

• Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up litter from walkways and parking lot, cleaning pool area, painting, mowing, and cleaning surrounding landscape areas.

• Completes special requests by hauling files and boxes, moving furniture, setting up furnishings, preparing rooms for meetings, assembling public announcement and audio-visual equipment, following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, completing repairs and installing replacement parts.
 

• Maintains lighting by installing light bulbs.
 

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including the tot lot.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
 

• Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
 

• Oversight of the community vendors to ensure their performance meet standards.
 

• Provides general maintenance requests, pressure washing, gate maintenance and ensures the overall community aesthetics are consistently in proper order and maintained in top condition.
 

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

· Five Years’ Experience or Equivalent

· Customer Service Skills

· Facilities Coordination

· Safety Management

· Lifting at least 50 pounds
