ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to review and analyze new merchant/client application documents and files and present REPAY’s, TPPP (Third Party Payment Processor) underwriting packages to our sponsor bank(s) for their review and approval. The Underwriter will review and analyze documentation provided to determine credit worthiness and will follow all of REPAY’s appropriate policies and guidelines to mitigate overall financial and reputational risk exposures to our company and sponsor bank(s). Work in a small team, open-air collaborative environment where you will have an immediate and measurable effect on our fast-growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review new merchant applications using multiple underwriting tools
• Verify and confirm information provided on the merchant application
• Analyze underwriting documentation in intense detail to ensure documents are valid
• Communicate with sales enablement/coordinator on pending and missing application information, to ensure all submitted applications are fully completed with accurate information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Excellent skills in MS Office
• Experience in credit analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy
• Ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
• Must be motivated, decisive, detailed oriented, and able to work independently, but must be equally comfortable collaborating with others
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment with a willingness to support others.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
