Part-Time Food & Beverage Associate

The Part-Time Food Service Associate will assist in food preparation and service, cleaning and sanitation of dishes, equipment and facilities, stocking of markets and storage, and taking payment at the cash register. This position is in a corporate office setting, so excellent customer service is a must. No evenings or weekends.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Prepare, setup, and serve breakfast and lunch to customers. Restock storage and market areas. Must be able to lift 20 pounds and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Perform standard kitchen duties, including, but not limited to, dishwashing, trash removal, cleaning surfaces and mopping
• Keep a safe working environment by following handwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing procedures
• Retain temperature logs, cleaning logs, and production records
• Work at a cash register
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the café experience and handle all customer complaints by resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
   

Required Skills:

 

• Selected candidates for this position will be reliable, have great people skills, good at multi-tasking and work quickly and efficiently
• If you do not have a current Michigan food handler’s permit, we will arrange and pay for the testing

 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required and food service experience a plus
