Global SAP Business Process Architect – Supply Network Planning & Customer Collaboration  

Location: Poland (preferably Dębica, Tarnów or Warsaw but we are open to consider candidates from all locations in Poland)

 

Primary Purpose of the Position:

 

The Global SNP & Customer Collaboration Business Process Architect will be a member of the global Supply Chain IT team applying their expertise in SAP and non-SAP technology, specifically in SCM planning to provide competitive solutions to enterprise-wide challenges.  This project focused role, will function in a technical Business Systems Analyst capacity, working closely with business partners and applying digital expertise in a business/technical system area. Additionally, the architect will strive for cross-functional and cross-platform solutions providing guidance to departmental and divisional Business/Technical Management on IT / Digital Strategies and Initiatives.

 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Focusing on Supply Network Planning, Inventory Optimization and Customer collaboration.
• Collaborate with business teams and business process owners and experts, around Supply Execution, Inventory Management and Customer collaboration, analyzing new initiatives and shaping together the business requirements, ensuring stability of the processes and alignment with best practices.
• Analyzing business/technical needs and translating process into practice through the current IT Tool Sets by investigating for the best fitting solution and providing design solutions and functional specifications in the areas of Supply Network Planning, Inventory Optimization and Customer collaboration.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance existing operations using new IT Technology as a replacement for Legacy Systems manual effort.            
• Implementing new business/technical strategies through configuration interaction and creation of programing specifications.
• Providing knowledge transfer on current technologies to stakeholders and junior level staff.
• Conducting full integration testing of new or changed business/technical processes (developing business). Preparing Technical Cycle Tests for use by stakeholder community. Documenting all process changes and writing operational instructions work requirements.
• Providing adequate analysis and supporting documentation to enable management to develop effective work plans and project schedules (track to project plans and monitor results). Adjusting priorities to accomplish objectives on time and under budget. 

 

Experience and Education: 

• Academic bachelor’s degree in related discipline or in lieu of degree 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in SAP APO (CIF interface, SNP, Inventory Optimization), SAP-ERP (MM) or in any other supply chain planning software   

 

Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of, and experience in end-to-end supply chain planning, focusing on Supply Network Planning, Inventory Optimization and Customer collaboration and the rules surrounding those processes.
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Customer Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in integrating and using customer collaboration platforms such as, SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Salesforce or similar tools.
• System Integration: Experience with integrating SAP systems with other enterprise applications and third-party tools.
• Good communication, time management and presentation skills
• Strong team Player
• Willing to travel as needed.

 

Preferred Knowledge

• Basic ABAP programming knowledge.
• Basic BW knowledge.
• Experience in S4HANA and SAP IBP and in any non-SAP supply chain planning tools.
• Experience in Demand Sensing and Multi echelon inventory optimization.
• Experience on advanced analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience working with linear programming / mixed integer programming or operations research algorithms.
