About the role

Project Manager - IT Consolidation / Mobile Device Management

Fujitsu has immediate need of a Project Manager with experience relating to relocation/consolidation of IT Inventories, Infrastructure and Mobile Device Management projects to join our team.  

Based in the New York City region, the successful candidate will be involved with supporting one of our large financial sectors clients with the relocation and consolidation of IT and Mobile Device Resources and Infrastructure, as they merge several geographically dispersed branch offices into one central NYC location. 

Work Style:

  • Onsite- NYC:  Candidates must be able to work onsite in NYC. 
  • Travel/Mobility: Occasional national and international travel will be required as/when needed.
  • Contract with possibility of conversion to FTE.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • PMP Certified 
  • 5 to 8 years’ Project Management experience with demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Project Management experience leading IT Infrastructure Office Relocation and Migration projects. 
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM), knowledge and related project experience. (Telephone, Mobile Device, Fax etc). 
  • Data Centre relocation experience a strong asset. 
  • Strategic Sourcing requirement analysis to plan project accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively manage relationships with customers and stakeholders of all levels.
  • Willing to work onsite in NYC (Manhattan).
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally if/when required. 

Strong Assets:

  • Experience leading development projects within the Manufacturing Industry relating to PO processes or E-Commerce would be a strong plus.  
  • Japanese language skills would be an asset, though not required.
