Description
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is actively seeking two talented individuals to join our dynamic team as a Client Assessment Systems Coordinators for our Southeast and Western MA regions. Our Southeast office is located in Middleborough and Western Massachusetts office is in Springfield. In this integral role, you will serve as a vital liaison and coordinator, adept at fostering effective communication among individuals, families, DDS Area Office (AO) staff, and the Director of Client Assessment Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
- Develops procedures and guidelines for implementing the new SIS-A (Support Intensity Scale - Assessment) tool, including prioritizing services, budgets, and changing support needs with the Director of Client Assessments.
- Provides analysis and coordination of needs to ensure smooth and efficient scheduling, completion, and communication of outcomes of SIS-A assessments.
- Communicates relevant SIS information to individuals with disabilities, families, guardians, providers, and other potential respondents, including reviewing communication for accuracy and content.
- Takes responsibility for timely, accurate, and detailed documentation of the scheduling process, following developed scheduling guidelines and procedures.
- Initiates virtual invitations and ensures all necessary parties are connected at the start of assessments.
- Utilizes appropriate software to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of assessments.
- Prepares materials, information, and analysis for various stakeholders as requested by the supervisor.
- Confers with the Director of Client Assessments and other agency personnel to determine program progress, requirements, and resource availability.
- Assists in evaluating program activities to determine progress and effectiveness, tracking assessment scheduling, completion, missed appointments, and identifying process gaps.
- Provides support and technical assistance in translating SIS-A summaries and data with the Area and Regional Office.
- Analyzes data and trends for the Director; makes recommendations on program changes based on evaluation and data analysis in conjunction with the Director.
- Collaborates with the AAIDD Project Coordinator on an ongoing basis regarding any challenges, adaptations, cancellations, etc.
- Ensures SIS Assessments have necessary and accurate demographic information in SISOnline and are assigned to the appropriate interviewer.
- Participates in required SISOnline or other training as needed to enhance the scheduling process.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
