NOTE: This role will be hybrid/3 days onsite for candidates who are located in/around Jacksonville, FL.
About the role:
As a Network Analyst, you’ll work with large, complex network systems and help maintain the infrastructure that’s critical to the world of global fintech. This will involve upgrading systems and software and deploying network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls. You are the end-to-end owner of network infrastructure. You design and manage network security frameworks to support all hosted environments. You own information security and network reliability and they are at the core of your thought processes.
About the team:
Our Network WAN Delivery team is responsible for supporting our client’s WAN network environment. We handle daily trouble tickets, requests, changes, and projects assigned to our group and work closely with our internal teams as needed. Communication with our clients occurs regularly to build relationships and to ensure their needs are met. We hope you join us.
What you will be doing:
Supporting network WAN connectivity of over 250 U.S. banks. This will include but is not limited to Routing, SDWAN, switching, and wireless utilizing a number of vendors (Cisco, Meraki, VMWare Velocloud SDWAN, etc.).
Troubleshooting simple to complex issues withing our client’s environments.
Project work large and small.
Collaborate with team members on projects and BAU work.
Resolving all network problems and quickly responding to customer requests.
Troubleshooting network problems and recommending corrective procedures.
Maintaining network services documentation and completing network change requests.
What you will need:
Excellent communication, both with the customers and internal groups within FIS.
A high-level understanding networking concepts in a WAN environment. Clients will range from small offices to mid-sized operations centers, and the ability to adapt to the environment of the client requires knowing these concepts in advance.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Cisco Routing and Switching is imperative, as is a basic understanding of SDWAN concepts.
The ability and organizational skills needed to work in a fast-paced, team environment. You will often be troubleshooting and working projects concurrently, often for multiple customers with differing environments.
Willingness to learn and teach others
Added bonus if you have:
Experience with SDWAN solutions by any of the top providers (VMWare, Silverpeak, Cisco, Meraki, etc.)
ServiceNow experience
Automation experience
