About this role

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter for the newly created CHVAC Productivity COE.  The Senior Manager, Productivity Project Execution will drive the transformation and growth of our commercial businesses by leading execution of productivity and cost reduction projects.  Key responsibilities include overall variable cost productivity and efficiency of both operational and transactional value streams within the businesses.  The successful candidate will deliver results including process and digital improvements, field labor cost reduction, direct and indirect material productivity and improvement in operational efficiency ensuring year over year margin growth.

This role reports to the Productivity COE Leader for the Commercial HVAC business and will work cross-functionally to drive operational rigor.  The candidate will gain a solid understanding of our business, facilitate opportunity ideation, and prioritize and lead execution of projects.  The candidate will also be a proven leader having demonstrated results through business efficiency, process improvements and digital acumen. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project leadership to drive execution of high-impact projects.

  • Facilitate ideation/identification of new cost reduction opportunities.

  • Identify top drivers and work with business segments to root out inefficiencies.

  • Maintain a healthy funnel of active and queued projects.

  • Support short- and long-term strategy to deliver productivity and cost reduction gains.

  • Identify and track key metrics to articulate efficiency and measure cost and profitability improvement.

  • Analyze current state data, key processes and operations to identify opportunities.

  • Work closely with our business process team to document and improve high impact processes using problem solving tools.

  • Work closely with stakeholder teams to ensure process adherence and adoption.

  • Monitor and measure expected benefit realization of implemented improvements and projects.

  • Recommend training, standard work, and adjustment to shifts and duties as appropriate.

  • Partner with the Digital team to develop tools and technology solutions that drive cost productivity and operational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to model the impact of required investments and ensure return on investment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, general management or leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Prior P&L experience

  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodology

  • Statistical analysis experience

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in collaborative environments.

  • Experience driving cross-functional teams through project lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to lead opportunity ideation in operational and transactional value streams.

  • Skilled at generating actionable insights and executable plans from business data.

  • Experience driving process and system enhancements.

  • Demonstrated data analytics skills, knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.

  • Track record of leading teams, superior communication skills, influencing up and across complex organizations.

  • Digital literacy, including Microsoft O365, PowerBi, SAP, SalesForce.com, ServiceMax or related platform.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in HVAC industry and/or field service industries
