<h2>Job Title:</h2>Senior Level Designer<p></p><h2>Requisition ID:</h2>R026231<p></p><h2>Job Description:</h2><p><span>Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an </span>Senior Level Designer<span> to join the development of a new IP.  </span></p><p><span>You will improve, develop, and innovate rendering techniques for AAA titles.  You will work closely with engineers and artists to bring excitement to life on the screen.     </span><br/><span>  </span></p><p><span>As a leader on the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>You’ll help us by…</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Partnering with the Gameplay Director to set the overall vision and direction for combat, mission, and gameplay design. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Take ownership of creating level design principles for the whole game level design – supporting combat encounters, gameplay systems, narrative scenes, world systems and navigation. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Work together with other teams on technical solutions, pipelines and tools supporting level design <span>implementation. </span></span></p></li><li><p><span>Take ownership of level design in a gameplay prototype – from ideation to final quality <span>implementation. </span></span></p></li><li><p><span>Support hires, training and mentoring of level designers. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyze, pitch, prototype, and develop missions and open-world content for an unannounced AAA project </span></p></li><li><p><span>Create one-page designs, mission briefs, system outlines, and whatever other communication tools are necessary for succinctly and effectively communicating vision. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Leverage technical expertise to implement systems in proprietary tools. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with multiple disciplines, ensuring partners are involved and informed throughout development. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide regular active feedback across all of your features, and across the game as a whole. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Remain current on industry trends including new game genres, new game design techniques, and trending audio-visual excellence. </span></p></li></ul><p><b><b>You’re awesome because you have…</b><span> </span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>8+ years of experience shipping AAA titles</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience driving level design teams and technical pipelines </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to communicate design vision and to align vision within the team. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with versatile game development tools such as Unity, Unreal, or similar proprietary tools. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Extensive player experience with games, including action, RPG, open world, and online titles. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Extraordinary self-motivation and initiative, and a positive attitude in the face of challenges. </span></p></li></ul><p><b><b>Bonus points for…</b><span>  </span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Major recognition in your field of work  </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in adjacent disciplines such as quest design, environment art, programming, etc.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Not sure you meet all qualifications?
