Backend Engineer

We are looking for backend engineers who has experience working in an agile environment and understands the importance of DevOps mindset in delivering applications. You should be able to adapt to standards, technologies, and approach in producing mission-critical solutions. As a problem-solver, you are expected to work within a multidisciplinary team and IT organizations across various ING entities - thus communicating your ideas plays a key role on your day-to-day job.

Requirements:

Competent to Proficient level of knowledge with the following:

Java 8 and/or 11

Springboot, Spring batch, etc.

RESTful API development

SQL and ORM technologies such as Hibernate

Nice to have:

• Apache Kafka,  Maven,  IntelliJ, Junit, Mockito
• Good Knowledge of code versioning tools and CI/CD platforms (e.g Git, Azure)
• Database migrations tool: FlyWay
• Containerization software: Docker and OpenShift

Experience working on the following:

CI/CD Pipelines

Production support

Test automation: Junit Testing, Test Driven Development and Spring Integration Testing

Security

Willing to learn and understand:

Cloud-based technologies

IT Risk

Microservice Architecture
