A Day in the Life

As a member of the Coronary and Renal Denervation OU Finance team, you'll have a chance to help shape a business with a brand new market opportunity in accelerating key growth for Medtronic.

This critical role within CRDN Finance serves as the functional partner to the Clinical Leadership Team as well as provides financial analysis and support for the R&D portfolio to help drive results in a key growth business for Medtronic.

This position will report to the Sr Finance Manager, CRDN R&D/OPC.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as functional partner to the CRDN Clinical Functional Leaders as well as R&D Core Teams and portfolio financial reporting/analysis.
  • Driving efficiencies in the R&D Finance with reporting optimization.  
  • Provide support in financial planning and administration, forecasting, and measurement/understanding of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and Strategic Plan.
  • Execute standard period and quarter end financial close activities and support business reviews through standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses.
  • Provide financial expense reporting and analysis, ensuring spending is within budget and company policies.
  • Identify and develop month-end financial reporting efficiencies for functional leaders to ensure clear results and drive business decisions.
  • Assist in the education and development of business partner financial acumen and reporting tools.
  • Drive efficiency/improvement of related finance processes in support of the organization.
  • Support analysis of labor rates, supply vs. demand of project charging resources and processing of allocated resource chargebacks.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
