Sr. Automation QA

<p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>· Design, develop and maintain ROBUST automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Playwright along with tools like Postman REST Assured.</p><p>· Create reusable, maintainable test scripts for both UI and API testing within the existing frameworks.</p><p>· Develop and execute API test cases to validate backend services, ensuring seamless integration with front end component </p><p>· Create and Manage test cases in Xray integrated with Jira, ensuring traceability to requirements and coverage for both UI and API layers.</p><p>· Execute automated tests across multiple platforms and environments.</p><p>· Sync automated test results back to Xray, generating detailed reports.</p><p>· Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelined for continuous testing.</p><p>· Identify, document, and track defects in Jira while collaborating with developers for resolution.</p><p>· Participate in Agile ceremonies and scrum process.</p><p>· Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, API testing and integration testing.</p><p>· Regularly review test execution results and coverage reports in Xray Jira to ensure alignment with project goals</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>· Proficiency in Java, Selenium Web driver, Playwright and Cucumber/Gherkin syntax.</p><p>· Ability to learn quick the existing test framework &amp; tests</p><p>· Experience with Xray APIs integration from scratch to automatically upload test results to Jira after execution</p><p>· Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Maven) and version control systems (Git)</p><p>· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira</p><p>· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</p><p>· Pro-active planning and Individual contribution</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>This role is ideal for candidates passionate about automation, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
