Individual Sales Support Agent

Supports day-to-day sales activities by providing information and assistance to customer, Brokers, and internal organizations

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving, investigating, and resolving inquiries timely and accurately, clearly documenting all communications.
• Answering basic inquiries and resolving routine problems regarding products and services via calls, email, or internet chat.
• Conducting periodic and regular surveys of customers to determine satisfaction and cross-selling opportunities.
• Performing contract administration support and resolving contract related issues.
• Developing new prospects, establishing customers, and finding opportunity to introduce an organization’s products and services
• Handling customer service inquiries and problems of brokers around benefits, eligibility, and billing. 
• Must be willing to work flexible/rotating schedules as business needs arise.

Job Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years - Experience in a customer service support role is required

Skills\Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a face paced environment
• Capability to handle large volumes of work 
• Solid consultative understanding of insurance products
• Ability to communicate health insurance knowledge and how it applies to member utilization
