About the Team

If you have a passion for leading teams and inspiring an ecosystem of Partners to build and innovate, this is the role for you. Reporting to the Head of Americas Partner Management, this role of Sr. Manager, Partner Management will oversee a partner management team driving industry solutions and growth in US and Canada. He/she manages cross-functional engagement in programs, systems, processes, and people. The Partners Organization focuses on driving partnerships for accelerated innovation and growth with industry differentiation, expanded reach, and customer success.


This role will impact and influence cross-functional teams in Sales, Operations, Customer and Marketing. The role will require the Sr. Manager to define shared goals and execution dependencies that are of strategic importance for the success to Workday and our Partners.

About the Role

  • The Sr. Manager, Partner Management will be responsible for delivering winning partner engagements.  The focus on time, scale, and route to market, aligning with operational goals and core values.

  • Key responsibilities include; achieving excellence in execution and delivery within specified timelines, collaborating with various functions, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives in programs, systems, processes, and people.

  • This position will have a heavy focus on cross-functional alignment, prioritization, best-practices, and strategic planning

  • Refine, align, and implement the partner strategy to build and grow our presence and client impact across key industries and segments

  • Build a collaborative model with our field organizations corporate to instill a partner aware approach and attitude across the company

  • Track, measure, and report partner contribution against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary

  • Understand our partners' businesses and develop strategies and incentives to increase profitability through our partnership

  • Partner with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive partner-initiated leads, pipeline, and deal progression

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial roles, with at least several years in SaaS, preferably in domains directly related to Partner Management

  • 3+ years in people management roles, proven ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment, particularly around GTM efforts

  • Experience in developing partnerships, particularly working with SIs and ISVs

  • Able to communicate effectively with internal teams for clarity and cohesion, as well as externally, with partners and customer

  • Highly structured
