This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View / Sunnyvale.
We are looking for an Associate to join our Business Operations and Analytics (BOA) team. In this role, you’ll influence the future direction of LinkedIn, identifying new opportunities and driving forward strategic, quantitative-focused initiatives across the company. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of functional partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Corporate Development.
Responsibilities:
Deliver strategic projects across LinkedIn for our leadership that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives
Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvement
Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development, and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal
Identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues
Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline or relevant work experience
2+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or other growth strategy-focused or operational role
Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models. Ideally, you also have significant experience both reading and writing SQL
Effective communicator: You’re able to concisely and clearly present and debate recommendations both in writing and verbally in meetings with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Intellectually curious: You intrinsically want to understand “why” and are excited to roll your sleeves up to deeply explore the cause and effect within our business
High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to help our growing business

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$78,000 to $126,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
