About the team:Engineers in this team are responsible for developing and refining an end-to-end finance platform which includes two sub-domains: Purchasing and Subledger. The Subledger sub-domain is to develop and maintain highly reliable and scalable subledger system which fulfills the company’s accounting and financial requirements. This includes streamlining the economic records and generating financial reports for auditing purpose, gaining financial insights, and supporting critical business decisions. 

As a Software Engineer II on StubHub’s team, you’d be able to:

We would like to see:

• Someone who loves to have an impact, learn from the best, and help people access unforgettable experiences 
• 3-5 years, or equivalent demonstration, of full-time relevant work experience in software development 
• Experience in designing and developing robust, distributed systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Javascript) 
• Experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact 
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools 
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

The anticipated gross annual base salary range for this role is $175,000 – $220,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which also includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
