Job Overview 

Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include; supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. The Cardiac Observation is located on the 1st floor of The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.  We are a 33 bed unit consisting of private rooms.  Our patient population consists of pre and post procedural cardiac patients, and cardiac observation patients. Our varied diagnoses make our unit a great place to learn!    

 

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience 

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Indiana or a compact licensed state 

 

Preferred: Certifications/Licenses/Experience 

• Previous experience in the inpatient/hospital setting
• Previous cardiac experience
