JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Greater Allegheny has an immediate opening for the position of Head Women's Soccer Coach.
This is a new position that will initially start as a club sport in 2026-2027 and then transition to an intercollegiate sport by 2027-2028.
Head Women's Soccer Coach. Penn State Greater Allegheny is a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). This is a part-time, 9-month opening reporting to the Director of Athletics.
Job Duties
- The Head Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for the organization and administration of all phases of a comprehensive Soccer program.
- They should have the ability to effectively motivate student-athletes, as well as a demonstrated commitment to high academic standards, healthy lifestyles, demonstrated leadership skills, ability to manage team dynamics, and a commitment to NCAA regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Successful background in coaching and playing experience preferred.
- May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
Evidence of the ability to build a winning program consistent with the values of NCAA Division III and the mission of Penn State Greater Allegheny is required. Additionally, an understanding of, and commitment to, NCAA, PSUAC, and USCAA Rules and Regulations is required. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
