Software Engineer III - Software Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
Serve as a Software Systems Development Engineer, designing, developing, and administering cloud computing platforms.
Support testing software applications within a CI/CD pipeline as part of a larger system of systems.
Plan and execute software application testing through live, virtual and constructive environments.
Develop, integrate, and validate models and data supporting software testing.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Use standard SW req, but with the following additional must have:
Experience working on or administering cloud computing platforms and technologies such as AWS, S3, AWS NS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Nifi, etc.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker
Experience administering classified cloud computing platforms such as DAF CloudWorks, CloudONE, etc.
Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like OMS
Experience with Command and Control Mission Systems
Masters Degree in Computer Science
Model Based Systems Engineering experience
Experience supporting testing of software applications within a CI/CD workflow

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
