You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Software Systems Development Engineer, designing, developing, and administering cloud computing platforms.

• Support testing software applications within a CI/CD pipeline as part of a larger system of systems.

• Plan and execute software application testing through live, virtual and constructive environments.

• Develop, integrate, and validate models and data supporting software testing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

• Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

• Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

• Use standard SW req, but with the following additional must have:

• Experience working on or administering cloud computing platforms and technologies such as AWS, S3, AWS NS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Nifi, etc.

• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker

• Experience administering classified cloud computing platforms such as DAF CloudWorks, CloudONE, etc.

• Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like OMS

• Experience with Command and Control Mission Systems

• Masters Degree in Computer Science

• Model Based Systems Engineering experience

• Experience supporting testing of software applications within a CI/CD workflow

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
