Role & Responsibilities:

As a Babysitter, you will have the responsibility of providing care for children 3-months 12-years in our Kids Clubhouse.

The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute creative activities and organized games for children

• Socially interact with children and engage in developmentally appropriate play

• Communicate clearly with parents, assuring all sign in and sign out procedures are followed exactly

• Be first point of contact for all parents and represent Chelsea Piers Fitness positively

• Ensure the security and safety of the children and childcare room at all times

• Work and collaborate with team to ensure childcare room is staffed appropriately

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher required
• 1+ year experience caring for children ages 3 months - 12 years
• Classroom experience, preferred
• Positive, can-do and joyful attitude with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Community-minded
• Excellent communicator
• Proactive problem solver
• CPR + Infant CPR Certified, preferred

Pay Transparency: $18/Hour
