Customer Processing

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Customer Processing to join our growing team.

 

THE ROLE  

 

The Production Customer Service will report directly to the Office Manager and is responsible for all aspects of creating the daily production schedule of a fast-paced manufacturing plant in a make-to-stock and make-to-order environment.  This includes but is not limited to; working safely, planning and processing of production schedules, printing and organizing production documents, processing of purchase orders, following SOPs, maintaining historical information, troubleshooting, cost reduction, communicating with suppliers, and continuous improvement. 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities 

 

• Planning Production Schedules 

• Processing of Production Schedules in the ERP software  

• Preparing production paperwork and signing off on deliverables 

• Places Purchase orders 

• Maintaining Excel spreadsheets to track software errors, timeliness of task completion, stock targets, etc. 

• Advises on work progress, material availability and other potential production problems to ensure materials and services are scheduled as needed 

• Works with suppliers to resolve discrepancies (quality, delivery, etc) 

• Collects and maintains data and other historical information 

• Problem solves/Continuously Improves 

• Supports other office functions as needed 

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities  

 

• Proficient in the use of computers 

• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management and suppliers. 

• Strong work ethic and attendance 

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 

 

 

Education and Experience 

 

• Must have a HS Diploma; some college or specialized training preferred 

• 2+ years of work experience in an office setting
