The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $65,665.60 to $71,905.60.

This position is Exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position

The Human Resources Analyst acts as a strategic partner to develop and implement strategies that support the Judicial Branch’s staffing objectives. This position requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can handle a variety of administrative tasks using critical thinking and independent judgement to advise hiring managers on the best recruiting and staffing strategies; ensuring effective workforce planning and hiring practices that align with organizational goals.  Individuals who can read, interpret, adhere to, and understand defined policies, processes, and procedures while working independently will be the most successful in this role.

Position Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources analysis

OR

Combined education and experience qualifications:

  • An equivalent combination of education and professional experience in Human Resources as outlined above may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications on a year for year basis.
  • Paraprofessional HR experience may substitute for professional experience on a two for one basis (i.e. two years of paraprofessional experience substitutes for one year of professional experience).

Our Preferred Candidate has:

  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, NEOGOV, PeopleSoft).

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of: 

  • Research and data analysis methods and techniques

Skill in: 

  • Effective use of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar 
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective decision making  
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and performing multiple tasks and demands within schedule constraints and reprioritizing work as needed 
  • Verbal and written communication in a clear, concise, and organized manner 
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships 
  • Completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
