We have an opportunity for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Part-Time in Baton Rouge, LA. This is an hourly position with 24 hours per week.

• Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
• Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
• Comply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies, and CMS regulations
• Collaborate with IDT team to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
• Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
• Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes with nursing and kitchen management.
• 1-3 years working in long-term care and/or a hospital environment as a Registered Dietitian
