GDIT’s Learning & Development (L&D) Center of Excellence is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Advisor to oversee the establishment, curation, and implementation of high impact technical learning programs for GDIT’s employees who are focused on supporting our nation’s most mission-critical work.

You will be reporting directly to GDIT’s Director of Technical Upskilling & Certification Programs and partnering with Senior Technical, Growth, and Business Leaders to explore and identify the organization’s most critical areas of upskilling focus and implement formal learning programs to address them. This is a highly consultative position, and the ideal candidate will engage in targeted needs analysis, independently manage multiple program initiatives and demonstrate a strong desire to innovate through cutting-edge technology related learning solutions that drive business value, while fostering long-term partnerships with internal stakeholders.

 
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Establish an end-to-end plan to incrementally develop, solution, and implement tailored upskilling programs, in alignment with GDIT technical capabilities, business pipeline and high growth areas.
  • Collaborate with GDIT’s Director of Technical Upskilling & Certification Programs and partner with members of the team, as well as technical and growth leaders to identify enterprise upskilling & certification preparation needs.
  • Leverage business insights to bring forth upskilling recommendations to leaders, partnering with the Technical Upskilling Program Team to pinpoint learning solutions and program target audiences.
  • Become a subject matter expert on GDIT’s tech curriculum, utilizing gathered insights on industry and business pipeline technical development trends to drive strategic learning solutions to address them.
  • Build a large enterprise technical learning curriculum portfolio in GDIT’s Learning Management System, in partnership with LMS Content Curation Advisor, curating content by leveraging best practices and working with established vendors, that includes tiered upskilling and certification preparation libraries, GDIT capability course playlists, commercial partner offerings, white papers, and additional resources to enhance and simplify the employee’s learning experience.
  • Establish technical learning curriculum standards, including regular cadence review and audit approach to ensure most up-to-date courseware, in alignment with industry and business pipeline trends, as well as certification issuers.
  • Improve upon GDIT’s tech learning curriculum through analysis and identification of potential gap areas and offering meaningful suggestions to close the gap.
  • Engage with established and potential new content providers vendors to explore new, supplemental, or enhanced offerings, aligned to current and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate and consult across the Technical Upskilling & Certification Program Team to ensure alignment of up-to-date strategic offerings for targeted upskilling through direct Program Leadership engagement.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of technical learning programs, including but not limited to metrics related to usage, participant satisfaction, learning program efficacy via certification achievement, cost, and program/business impact.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of related work experience; OR in lieu of degree, 14+ Years of related work experience is required
  • Experience creating and establishing technology-related L&D programs and solutions across a large enterprise
  • Experience with leveraging best practices for curating curriculum content in learning management syst
