The Role

As Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will be the first full time hire in finance in Europe, meaning a large responsibility and large impact. You will work directly with our VP of Finance located in New York and hold full responsibility for reporting in Sweden and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting in Sweden and the UK.
• Oversee budget planning and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimise financial performance.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in a finance controller or similar role with Swedish accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Fluent in Swedish or on a trajectory to fluency.
