About the Opportunity

None of the ambitious strategies we've launched in clinical care, education and research can succeed without the right people. To do our best work in support of children's health, CHOP needs the best people and the best talent acquisition infrastructure. The Sr. Director Talent Acquisition (TA) is the head of talent acquisition for the enterprise and accountable for thought leadership, structural design, operational excellence, strategic planning, and tactical execution to attract and hire the talent needed to realize CHOP's potential.

The Sr. Director Talent Acquisition will lead and drive the continued innovation of the critical recruitment function across CHOP, designed to strategically attract, hire, and retain top talent in a competitive market. This leader will drive and execute talent acquisition strategies from entry-level hires to finding strategic executive leaders across all departments inclusive of providers and physicians. The position will serve as the primary strategist and chief advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition initiatives, delivering a strategic and consultative approach to the organization by providing relevant best practices, staying current on market insights, and building innovative programs to meet a high volume of diverse requirements across the organization.

Beyond leading the talent acquisition team for the health system, this leader will be adept at building trusted partnerships with management and internal clients, in addition to having a passion for building a world-class candidate experience in a fast-paced, high-growth field. The Sr. Director Talent Acquisition will be tech savvy, skilled in social media, sourcing, internal mobility, skills-based hiring, workforce initiatives, and talent acquisition/human capital systems. The leader will have exceptional skills leading high performing, highly engaged teams as well as developing infrastructure and scalable, reliable processes to ensure our recruiting engine is running efficiently.

Reporting to the VP Human Resources, the Sr. Director Talent Acquisition will lead an experienced team which works across the organization to deliver a best-in-class service to CHOP’s patients and their families.
