Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in River Rouge, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfer assistance to ensure client safety.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Monitor clients' health and notify supervisors of any changes or concerns.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
