Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Take ownership of facility badging system (Lenel) and promptly process all facility physical access requests
Provide guidance and training to contractor security officers. Identify and execute opportunities for improvement via written procedures
Support badge-out compliance 
Generate badge reports in support of HR investigations
Review camera footage upon request of FSO for security related incidents or losses
Assist FSO with security violation investigations
Review and approve photographs taken inside the facility. Generate camera tags for program cameras
Collaborate with Facilities to develop and procure facility signs
Collaborate with IT to ensure appropriate camera coverage within the facility and to report cameras malfunctions
Relay issues with physical security equipment (e.g., readers, maglocks) to the appropriate department for correction
Succinctly document physical security investigations utilizing the 5W method and include objective evidence (e.g., camera footage exports, badge reports)
Organize and track physical security incidents for data aggregation and trend monitoring
Utilizing a risk-based model and cost effective approach, identify and recommend facility physical security enhancements
Provide guidance to inquires related to US and Foreign visit requirements
Support common industrial security tasks such as classified mailings and classified holdings audits
Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
 

Job Responsibilities Part II

Qualifications

Must have to ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Associate’s degree. 3 years of equivalent physical or industrial security experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated knowledge of cleared defense contractor operations
Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks and projects
Effective and transparent communication with manager, peers and internal or external customers
Must be able to interpret current government regulations and procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
