Position Summary
This role will be responsible for building partnerships with the stores and the 3rd party contractors to collectively execute projects, initiatives, and scheduled maintenance services in order to deliver safe and high performing facilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility. This role will ensure uptime of critical facility operational equipment, provide asset protection and coordinate with outside contractors regarding building services to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Controls project scope, schedule, and cost. Ensures that the plan is being followed with each project. Provides thought leadership to the creation of project plans and facilitates workout sessions and key meetings.
Responsible for quotes and budgeting of all facility repair/maintenance work orders.
Helps in creating Capital Budget for facilities and maintenance related capital project initiatives. The approved projects will then be managed to the budget created.
Coordinate program changes or potential program changes to the baseline and ensure the approved changes are communicated and implemented.
Ensures project information is communicated to the project team and stakeholders. Assists business in compiling timelines, communication plans, written status reports, and scorecards. Aids in selection of success metrics for proof of concepts, pilots, and rollouts.
Is the 1st line of defense on ALL facilities tickets / issues. This requires after-hours attention to “critical” tickets. Noncritical tickets will be worked the next business day. All tickets will be managed via Service Now and all projects will be managed via Asana/Smartsheet’s.
At the completion of a project or project phase, captures key lessons learned and communicates to team and partners. Effectively applies lessons learned in subsequent projects.
Enable and empower your team of Facility Support Analyst to make decisions with a sense of urgency to make sure Store issues are resolved in an effective and timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Communication: Candidates must have strong listening and interpersonal skills. They must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate cross-functionally. Candidates communicate expectations and standards to execute company programs.
Computer: Candidates must possess basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
Accountability: Candidates must possess the skills to lead conflict and provide performance management feedback to appropriate Manager.
Business Acumen: Ability to quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training.
Organization: Candidates must be able to organize multiple priorities to ensure execution.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma & experience in facilities management, retail, construction, and real estate preferred.
Customer Service: Candidate must have a Customer First mindset to be successful in this role.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb up and down a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible work week, and work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs.
Travel:
10% travel required.
