Job Description: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide Campus is currently hiring a part-time Building Monitor for our campus location at the Kapaun Air Station in Germany. Building Monitors are responsible for the opening and closing of military education center classrooms for ERAU-WW use in the morning, evening and on the weekend, as appropriate.  They are also responsible for the safekeeping of education center and ERAU-owned classroom support equipment. 

**Candidate must already have military logistical support to apply. Position is part-time working 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition and math.
  • (0-1) years of work related experience
  • Valid installation-entry pass and/or US Government identification card

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write information and complete simple forms.

  • Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.

  • Must be capable of performing light physical duties such as, moving and setting up audiovisual equipment, moving tables and chairs, and other routine daily maintenance functions.

  • Must be capable of operating computer hardware and peripherals (speakers, headphones, etc.) and audiovisual systems (overhead projectors, televisions and other equipment).

  • Strong communications skills – coordinate tech issues with IT Support and faculty as needed for EVC technical requirements.
