Appian Lead Developer

• Lead the design and development of Appian applications that meet business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices in application development.
• Architect complex process designs and workflows, enhancing system functionalities while adhering to Appian best practices.
• Mentor and support junior developers, providing guidance in coding standards, best practices, and problem resolution.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications, ensuring all components work as intended and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement version control and continuous integration practices to streamline development processes.
• Stay current with Appian platform updates and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document application processes, standards, and configurations for future reference and team training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Appian development.
• Strong proficiency in Appian Application Development, including Process Model, Interface, and Data Type design.
• Experience with Appian integrations with external systems and APIs.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivering high-quality applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Appian Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud technologies, database management, and deployment tools is a plus.
