Senior Business Analyst | Retail

As a Senior Business Analyst at Epicor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our retail industry products, specifically Eagle (Original) and Propello (Cloud). You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather product requirements, work directly with customers, and gain domain knowledge. Your expertise will help shape the future of our products, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and align with our strategic goals.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborating with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather and document product requirements, including scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
• Working directly with customers to gain domain knowledge and validate features.
• Working through complex problems and requirements.
• Answering questions from the development team about features and requirements, and collaborating with the product management team as needed.
• Presenting demonstrations of finished work to customers and performing sprint reviews.
• Building project plans, priorities, and timelines for Product leadership.
• Assessing priorities with Product Management.
• Identifying new scope from demonstrations, prioritizing, and completing the impact analysis of scope changes.
• Working with 1-3 Scrum teams.

What you will likely bring:

• 5+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 2+ years of retail industry experience.
• Experience with requirements gathering in a SaaS Cloud or Software environments.
• Technical background in client-server architecture.
• Software QA skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
