Job Description
The liaison will be the contact person for the in-class game integration. Each liaison will be handling implementation in about 6 courses.
Duties and Responsibilities
Visiting each class at least for the pre- and post-survey administration (at the beginning and end of the semester). These class visits are typically about 15-20 minutes each.
Meeting with each instructor to understand how they want to integrate the game modules on Canvas.
The liaison will help download and integrate the game modules into the Canvas courses.
Serve as a contact person if students/instructors have questions about the games.
Download relevant Canvas gradebook columns at the end of the semester for each class.
(Pending discussion/approval by leadership team) CREA (our external evaluator) also suggested that we should host in-class game play for 20-30 minutes for each module.
We are asking for 6 sessions x 30 minute = 3 hours of contact time per class.
Minimum qualification
Minimum of Bachelor Science degree in Mathematics or related subject.
Understanding of CANVAS and ability to work and help students at pre-calculus classes.
Salary Information
$2,000 base pay and $40 per class visit.
