CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Senior Knowledge Engineer to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining knowledge graphs that enhance data integration, retrieval, and analysis. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective capture, organization, and utilization of knowledge within the organization.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Knowledge Engineer role:
• Design, develop, and implement knowledge-based systems, including ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs to support data integration and semantic search.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for knowledge graph construction and maintenance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to capture and model domain-specific knowledge.
• Develop and maintain knowledge repositories, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Create and manage metadata standards and guidelines.
• Implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance knowledge retrieval and utilization.
• Implement and maintain ontologies, taxonomies, and schemas to ensure data consistency and interoperability.
• Conduct regular audits and updates of knowledge systems to ensure relevance and accuracy.
• Train machine learning models and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for specific tasks, optimizing performance and accuracy.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for knowledge graph construction.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on knowledge graph-related projects.
• Stay current with advancements in knowledge graph technologies and best practices.
What you will need:
- 4+ years of experience required
- Experience with knowledge management tools, semantic web technologies, and graph databases preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
The wage range for this position is:
Minneapolis, MN $110,098 - $165,147
Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
