Accounting Supervisor

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Accounting Supervisors Do

• Responsible for day-to-day journal entries, transactional accounting, account reconciliations and month-end close reporting.
• Responsible for auditing store financials which includes journal transactions, bank accounts, reconciling reports and schedules.
• Keeps track of payments and expenditures, payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
• Processing check requests and expense reports on a regular basis.
• Accurately reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices.
• Performing data entry associated with accounts payable matters.
• Conducting analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
• Preparing reconciliation reviews including the resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• Reviews all requisitions for disbursement of checks and reconciles all factory payable statements.

Your Pre-Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience.
• 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships online and in person.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
