Docusign’s IT organization is looking to hire a passionate and hands-on Automation Developer (SDET) to join our Automation team. In this role, you can have a direct impact on the most visible and crucial products in the company. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager SDET.

 

Responsibility

  • Write automation code to fully test the system end-to-end and help build out the framework
  • Work on multiple projects and features in the world of Web and API
  • Collaborate with IT Analysts and IT Engineers on Sales, Product, Pricing & Packaging, Customer Success, Revenue Operations and Finance teams to understand the business outcomes and create test automation to support the progression and regression tests
  • Participate in requirements workshops to understand expected business outcomes and create the test plans
  • Create and groom test automation backlog into well-defined test scripts that align to the test framework and standards
  • Deliver innovative solutions that will scale and reduce our tech debt footprint
  • Participate in change management, user acceptance tests and go-live support

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelors in Computer Science
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with test automation tools such as UiPath, Selenium and/or Playwright
  • Experience in writing automation tests for SaaS/End2End Business flows
  • Experience with QA methodologies including triaging, debugging, automating, and testing ability 

Preferred

  • Experience in web-related technologies such as Web Services, REST, JSON, and XML
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Test Methodologies and passion for QE best practices
  • Ability to work in automated testing pipeline and experience with CI tools
  • Knowledgeable with quality best practices, and adoption of quality vision,nstrategy, process, standards, tools, automation frameworks and solutions
  • Experience Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
  • Understanding of “automate everything” combined with the ability to rapidly learn the technical skills necessary to do so
  • Passion for quality and improving the user experience
  • Quick, Self-learning capabilities, self-taught
  • Ability to solve complex problems

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $122,300.00 - $190,650.00 base salary
