Our ideal candidate will have advanced qualifications as a Security Officer; former Police Officer, Military Police, Homeland/Government security or high level private security leader, as well as associates degree or formal Criminal Justice schooling/training. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism.

Position Objectives:

• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control
• Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner
• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately
• Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
• Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage

Position Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Proficient computer / technology skills needed
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
• Customer service background preferred 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail 
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties 
• 5+ years advanced Security experience (Police officer, Military police, Homeland police)
• Criminal Justice training and/or associate degree
• Medical clearance (pulmonary testing) required
• Helpful, courteous attitude 
• Ability to de-escalate situations
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Driver Certification
