The Senior Corporate Development Analyst is a high impact individual contributor role within a fast paced Corporate Development team operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, and commercial development. This role independently supports deal evaluation and strategic analysis across licensing, partnerships, and M&A opportunities, partnering closely with senior leaders to inform investment decisions.The Senior Analyst is expected to own complex analyses, exercise sound judgment, and synthesize insights into executive ready recommendations, playing a key role in how the company evaluates and prioritizes strategic opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Independently build, refine, and maintain complex financial models to evaluate licensing deals, partnerships, and M&A opportunities, including cash flow analysis, NPV/IRR calculations, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Conduct advanced market and competitive research, analyzing industry trends, pipeline activity, new drug approvals, and ANDA dynamics to identify and assess growth opportunities.
- Own deal pipeline analytics and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities, transaction assumptions, risks, and key milestones for leadership visibility.
- Develop clear, executive ready presentations that translate complex financial and strategic analysis into actionable insights for senior leadership, partners, and governance forums.

- Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to monitor deal flow, market trends, and portfolio performance.
- Leverage SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, supporting deep dive analysts of commercial, financial, and operational performance.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, and R&D teams to integrate inputs and develop comprehensive, well structured business cases.
- Support preparation of materials for executive leadership and Board level reviews, including investment recommendations, valuation summaries, and strategic narratives.
- Apply enterprise financial systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion EPM, SQL based platforms) to analyze top and bottom line performance across product portfolios.
- Partner with Finance to support forecasting and long range planning, contributing analytical insights to inform achievable yet ambitious growth targets.
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical rigor, modeling approaches, and reporting efficiency within the Corporate Development function.
- Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting licensing, partnership, or M&A evaluations with increasing independence and judgment.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical or healthcare industry dynamics, including familiarity with generics, branded pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, or FDA regulatory pathways.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to build and audit financial models from scratch.
- Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and succinctly to senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing large, complex datasets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging cross functional partners and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset - intellectually curious, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous situations.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) bachelor’s degree required - Required
- Master's degree (MS/MA) Advanced degree (MBA or MS) a plus - Preferred
Experience:
- 4 years or more in 4-8 years of experience in corporate development, FP&A, strategy, investment banking, consulting, or a similarly analytical role
- 2 years or more in Experience with valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable transactions, royalty-based deal structures, or risk adjusted valuation approaches.
- 1 year or more in Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into recommendations that influence strategic or investment decisions.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award with this position within the first 12 months.
