The HR Employee Relations team provides consultation, subject matter expertise, tools and resources to managers of U.S. employees on performance management/ improvement, leadership and conflict resolution matters. Employee Relations works closely with other areas of the HR community, Compliance and Employment Legal in addition to managers to help facilitate a high-performance organization and inclusive work environment.
We have a new leadership role for an Employee Relations Associate Director whose primary responsibilities will include team leadership/people management responsibilities in addition to:
Providing ER consultation to senior leaders and/or sensitive client areas
Leading hiring process and onboarding/training for new team members
Identifying and evaluating ER process improvement and/or additional service opportunities including engaging relevant stakeholders and team
Providing project management leadership across ER team initiatives and projects
Facilitating annual ER manager capability building plans and metric reporting cycle for the US
Representing ER in broader HR initiatives and projects
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 10 years HR experience, or Master’s degree in HR or related field and 8 years
Prior Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner/Generalist experience with demonstrated ability to consult, collaborate and influence leaders
Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and data analytics to generate insights as a foundation for diagnosis, recommendations and solutions
Strong knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations and company policies.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, matrix environment
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Team leadership/people manager experience in a high performing team environment
Experience conducting investigations, developing and conducting manager training
Project management experience
Change management experience a plus
