Duties:                                                             

Directs the activities of multiple production team leaders within a focus factory or general production area. Responsible for performance appraisals, goal setting, training and monitoring of personnel. Develops and maintains team environment with the group through the planning and coordinating of group activities. Assigns work to team/team leaders and monitors results. Supports short and long range goals consistent with manufacturing management, production teams and the company. Ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, develops procedures and policies for assigned areas, and maintains compliance to safety policies and procedures. Responsible for cost and quality of those functions under their leadership.

                                                                        

Requirements:                 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of related experience in Asset Mechatronics.

 

Position also requires:

 

1.           Experience with coordinating activities involved with maintaining and repairing down-hole, electronic and surface equipment for one or more product lines.

2.           Experience with sensors calibration, testing and qualification of downhole directional drilling, Gamma and drill steering dynamics sensors calibration, testing and qualification of drilling tools.

3.           Experience with inventory and asset management including capital acquisition process and inventory quality. 

4.           Experience with managing employee technical development and mentoring programs.

5.           Experience with repair or operational budgets.

6.           Experience in managing, developing, and deploying continuous improvement activities and with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
