Moraga Campus
The Data Warehousing course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the design and implementation of database warehousing and analytics database systems. Specific topics include data warehouse modeling and architecture, the ETL process, administration, security, column-store, streaming and NoSQL databases, and complex event processing. It will enable the students to develop a complete data warehouse system including implementation of a business intelligence suite.It will also provide conceptual background about maturity models, architectures, multidimensional models, and management practices, providing an organizational perspective about data warehousedevelopment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A Master’s degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
