Financial Systems Administrator

About the Role:

The Financial Systems Administrator supports day-to-day system administration and end-user operations for financial systems used by the Accounting team.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Financial Systems Manager on the administration of financial systems owned by Finance, including but not limited to NetSuite, FloQast, Coupa, Concur, Navan, Avalara, and Stripe.
• Troubleshoot systems issues as necessary; serve as first-tier end-user support for issues and questions and escalate items as necessary.
• Track, document, and manage support tickets.
• Manage user accounts and profile creation. Audits user access and permission periodically.
• Monitor system integrations to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flows.
• Monitor new releases, document, and communicate changes to end-users and system owners, and support upgrade activities as necessary.
• Develop and maintain user procedure documentation.
• Develop training materials and deliver periodic instruction to new users as needed.
• Work closely with management and end-users to gather and document business requirements and apply technology to enhance Finance processes and increase efficiency.
• Create reports or support users in creating reports.

What we’d like to see in you:

• 1-3 years experience working in or supporting a finance or accounting department.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience with any of the following applications, including but not limited to NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, and FloQast.
• Highly organized, efficient, and a good listener with a demonstrated desire to improve existing processes.
• Strong personal skills in collaborating with internal customers and external consultants.
• Strong communication and time management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects at a given time.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and under time constraints.
• Ability to thrive and be comfortable working in an evolving environment.
• Ability to manage change effectively and always be mindful of downstream technology, business processes, and systems implications.
• Knowledge of internal controls.
• Knowledge of finance month-end close and Accounting business processes such as order to cash, procure to pay, and general ledger.
