Senior Director, Global Partner Development Programs

As the Senior Director of Global Partner Programs you will lead all programmatic efforts for a world class channel route to market and partner program. This includes defining, developing, evolving and managing Cohesity’s partner program, while driving efficiencies and ease of doing business cross-functionally and globally with Cohesity.   You will be a key member of the WW Field Organization and lead a cross-functional team(s) of subject matter experts that scope, develop, plan, and implement the channel and partner program initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver an integrated set of strategic initiatives in support of Cohesity’s partner strategy with clear, specific, achievable and measurable outcomes
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as channel marketing, sales operations, education, services, legal and finance to provide guidance, channel priorities and requirements
  • Lead the development and management of all aspects of the global partner program including metrics and global governance processes, and ongoing reviews.
  • Formulate a comprehensive program framework that caters to diverse go-to-market (GTM) partner models, encompassing distributors, resellers, system integrators, service providers, and OEMs
  • Lead the creation of a partner services program, designed to empower and support partners in cultivating high-margin services practices
  • Develop, implement and manage a global distribution strategy to efficiently scale our channel business
  • Segment the partner ecosystem to develop a targeted investment strategy that yields a high return on investment (ROI)
  • Ownership of the partner experience throughout the entire partner lifecycle. Your focus will be on cultivating and nurturing positive, long-term collaborations with our partners, fostering mutually beneficial relationships and shared success
  • Balance strategic goals with short-term agility to maximize ROI for various routes to markets. 
  • Partner with Geo and functional channel executives to develop and manage investments in strategic partners to maximize ROI and reduce risk
  • Implement scalable infrastructure, process and tools required to support aggressive growth objectives 
  • Attract, retain and develop top talent by understanding each individual’s career aspirations and developing a personalized plan to help them grow their skills



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 15+ years of experience in indirect sales
  • Deep and broad experience and demonstrated leadership with varied indirect pathway partners, including but not limited to, value added resellers, system integrators, service providers OEMs and distributors
  • In-depth knowledge of how partners GTM and how to influence a partners actions and investment decisions
  • Experience working in a global environment and have the ability to navigate the complexities and needs across geographies
  • Ability to articulate clear vision of future state, outline the steps required to get there, and secure the commitment of senior management to meet quarterly objectives
  • Strategic thinker, able to see possibilities in a 3 year timeframe while continuing to drive for quarterly results
  • Ability to “sell” concepts to sales leaders (VP and director levels) and get them to agree to drive mutual goals/success metrics down into their organizations
  • Proven track record leading collaboration amongst multiple departments to achieve results
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to succeed in an agile, high-growth company
