The Finance Business Intelligence team’s mission is to harness the power of data. We are building a sustainable base of connected data, modernizing the delivery of financial insights, and creating a center of gravity for analytics innovation. To achieve our goals, we are creating a pipeline for talent, including specialists in data governance, data product management, data analysis, and reporting and analytics innovation. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an analytics expert with a strong background in financial planning and analysis, business forecasting and budgeting, or, capital budgeting and management. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of data analytics technologies, can translate business opportunities into technical solutions, and effectively leverages analytical tools to solve complex business problems.
This individual is a problem solver, critical thinker, and effective communicator. You are able to stay focused on leadership’s priorities and confidently say “no” to distractions. Being a team player is essential—you understand Nike’s data and analytics landscape and know when to involve relevant stakeholders.
You will apply strong project management and relationship-building skills to drive impact and deliver analytical excellence for Nike’s finance community. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to changing requirements, and evolving processes.
You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are energized by the challenge of uncovering business values within a complex data landscape. You ask thoughtful questions, continuously learn, and actively share knowledge with teammates.

WHAT YOU BRING
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in an analytics-related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
Critical thinker and problem solver
10+ years of experience in business and data analytics
8+ years of experience unlocking data insights and delivering tangible business values
8+ years of experience in business planning and financial analysis, with an excellent understanding of financial principles, KPIs, and performance metrics
8+ years of experience managing complex data analytics projects
8+ years of experience working with large datasets to aggregate, analyze, and validate data
Experience in a large, matrixed organization or Fortune 500 company
Experience in shaping analytics strategy aligned with corporate objectives
Experience in driving analytics adoption across multiple business functions
Experience in Sales, Retail, Consumer Product, Supply Chain preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan)
Strong ability to lead large analytics projects by identifying business opportunities, implementing analytics solutions, and delivering measurable business impact
Strong skills in data warehousing, data modeling, or business intelligence tools
Strong business acumen and a passion for using data to drive strategic decisions
