Director of Enterprise Architecture & Project Management

Job Summary

The Director of Enterprise Architecture & Project Management is a highly collaborative technology leader.  This is a strategic & critical role to lead, develop & execute IT roadmaps, drive IT project management initiatives, lead & develop a team of technology professionals, partner closely with internal business stakeholders, & manage/enable all company-wide business systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, & leadership skills to align technology initiatives with business objectives & drive impactful outcomes.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborating closely with leadership & business stakeholders to drive material impact with IT enterprise architecture & IT projects to meet business objectives.
• Managing experienced technology professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, & continuous improvement.
• Overseeing the development, customization, & integration of enterprise applications, including GL, ERP, CRM, HRIS, & other business-critical systems. Ensure seamless interoperability & data flow across platforms to optimize business processes & enable data-driven decision-making.
• Driving transformation & change management, identifying opportunities for process automation, system integration, & technology innovation.
• Ensuring the integration, interoperability, & scalability of enterprise architecture.
• Developing & maintaining the IT enterprise architecture roadmap supporting business strategy.
• Facilitating the continuous curation of a strategy-aligned technology project portfolio & guiding the creation of business justifications for selected projects.
• Leading the diligent & efficient selection of business systems, services, & partners to maximize technology service quality & value.
• Identifying & evaluating emerging technologies & industry trends to ensure the architecture remains scalable & resilient.
• Ensuring IT architectures adequately address operational needs as well as security & compliance requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years managing teams.
• Proven track record identifying & planning for technology strategies & multi-year roadmaps.
• Proven track record of development, implementation, & operations of IT business systems.
• Proven track record of leading technology transformations & digital initiatives.
• Previous work experience focusing on business systems management, enterprise architecture management, ERP implementation, master data management, systems integration, and/or IT modernization.
• Strong & tested project management experience including stakeholder relationship management, sponsor expectation management, risk management, & change management.
