What we do:
The Sr. Manager, Master Planning & Logistics reports to the Global Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Partnerships. This role develops and leads Supernal’s Master Planning & Scheduling capability & associated roadmap. This role will develop, implement, and lead a robust Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. The Sr. Manager will develop and implement end to end logistics plans, provide manufacturing strategy support, and be a strategic advisor to multiple Supernal functions. Responsibilities will require SIOP spanning multiple programs throughout their incongruous lifecycles to meet delivery schedules, optimize inventory positions, & reduce NVA in the SIOP process.
What you can do:
- Develop & rapidly implement a master production schedule (MPS) to strategically plan and complete end to end material logistics in support of all short & long-term programs
- Identify & on-board ERP & complementary digital tools facilitating the execution of all programs
- Develop a strategy and execution roadmap for end-to-end material for all inbound, internal, and outbound product in support of Supernal Manufacturing Strategy & Entry into Service
- Own the development and implementation of Supernal’s logistics strategy for all verticals to achieve business requirements
- Support and propose solutions to facilitate Make vs Buy strategy decisions
- Evaluate global market environment and make recommendations for sourcing strategies
- Optimizes end to end global inventory management strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams through influence at all levels of the business
- Build the requisite team & technologies to accomplish roadmap targets
- Travel anticipated to be less than 20%
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in the field of manufacturing (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Certification in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, and/or Lean / Six Sigma is valued
- High proficiency in Master Planning & Scheduling standard processes in a related industry
- Proficiency in Master Planning technologies and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both internally & externally
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Comfortable and excel in ambiguous environments
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Ability to lead and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Requires strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities to understand and facilitate complex supply chain decision making over the strategic time window
- Understanding of global supply chain networks, linkage, and flow
- Proficiency with SAP and other planning/scheduling software(s)
- Customer service orientation
You may also be able to contribute:
- MBA or MS preferred.
- Experience in Aerospace and/or Automotive industries preferred
- 5 years of previous supervisory experience preferred
