What’s the role?
Compiles records concerned with inventory, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivery of materials and supplies, internally. Support the warehouse and receiving areas as required, by performing the following duties.

Here’s what you’ll do:
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
- Route items to various departments
- Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
- Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area
- Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing
- Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Responsible for monitoring the Return Goods process
- Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing SAP to maintain accurate inventory records
- Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures
- Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log
- Regularly enter inventory data into SAP on a timely basis
- Assist management in recycling material in the warehouse
- Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
- Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
- Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis
- Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality
- Safely utilize forklifts cum power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
Do you qualify?
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Ability to lift/transport boxes that may weigh up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- May be exposed to; fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
- Work area may include equipment such as lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The temperature in the environment may be hot or cold.
- Must have a valid California Drivers License and effective auto insurance. Computer experience needed.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
