Senior HR Generalist

About the role
StandardAero is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support all of our Corporate Functions groups. In this role, you will serve as a trusted HR advisor, providing both strategic and hands-on support to leaders and employees across the organization. You’ll help drive talent initiatives, strengthen our culture, and ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Corporate Function leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Provide daily HR guidance on policies, employee relations, and people decisions that support business objectives.
- Coach leaders and employees to support development, conflict resolution, and effective team dynamics.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers for key corporate roles.
- Conduct and support investigations
- Administer HR programs including benefits & leave management
- Oversee new hire onboarding to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Partner with Compensation and Benefits on annual cycles (merit, incentives, job evaluations).
- Maintain accurate HR data and support reporting needs.
- Drive culture, engagement, and change management initiatives that reinforce StandardAero’s values.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR fundamentals, and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance tactical needs and strategic thinking.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and decision making skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manipulate and present data in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Positive professional presence, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Characteristics
- HR certification preferred.
- Experience supporting corporate or enterprise teams preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing/aviation environment is a plus
